Group of (16) Tin Victorian Embossed Ceiling or Wall Tiles w/ORIG Red Paint 1900

DESCRIPTION: Here each measuring 8 1/2″ x 13 1/2″ is this group of the (16) old embossed tin ceiling or maybe more likely they are wall border tiles as they interlock on the long sides only as shown in the last picture.  They have their original red paint with some scuffs and scrapes.  They could be unused and the red paint may be a thin primer coat so it never got a finish coat.  One tile is a bit over 9″ wide, but they interlock and yield 8 1/2″ each.  The color pretty matches my own redwood stain porch deck.  I’d definitely say tha tthese date to around 1900 as I have the remains of the wooden crate them came in.  *** Nice Vintage Pieces *** Country Shabby Appeal ***
CONDITION: Good and ‘vintage’ condition I’d say with some nominal shallow dings here and there.  The silver seen is the bare tin.  ..none have any nail holes.  (10) seem to be in better condition that the other (6)
